This one is on tour with his choir. He left last Friday morning. So far he's been to Charlotte NC, Williamsburg Va, Richmond Va, Herndon Va, Washington DC, Baltimore Md....in fact they are in Baltimore now, saw the Orioles last night...dinner cruise tonight...tomorrow Charleston WV...and then Saturday...home.I'm unbalanced not having him here....I'm so used to even numbers. I still get out 6 plates for dinner, and plan for 5 when it's just me and the kids out and about. Yes, unbalanced.

It's nice to know there are other people out there willing to admit they are unbalanced! :-)
What happens when they slowly start to move out? Our oldest is only home once a month or so for a weekend. We have to remember to set the table for 4 when he's home :)
It is weird when one is not around...so different. I am always head counting...and when one is missing it sure makes your heart panic for a second. LOL
That is awesome for him though. So cool.
Aren't these summer church trips incredible?!? So much a faster pace and more places covered than when I was in the youth group :) My oldest returned Monday - our youth group traveled to San Diego area. His first time flying, and he enjoyed it.
Jane,
What a great time he gets to experience and I am sure will have so many stories to share with you.
I do that when our kids are gone for the evening. It's even worse when they all leave.

isn't it strange- when they are around we could use a minute or two to ourselves, but when a child is gone, we are as you say "unbalanced" and not sure what to do!
Well I am sure he is having a wonderful time.
As moms, little do they know how they sculpt our daily lives eh
You will be unbalanced for the rest of your life. They leave, they come back, they bring more with them...
