Table Topics Tuesdays

OK Shannon has done it again over at Welcome To The Nuthouse! I love this week's question:

if you had to eat one meal for the rest of your life,
what would it be?

Oh Girls I have this one down pat!!! And I'm talking 3 course meal....let's start it off with a nice crisp Caesar Salad with lots of cheese....then because I am a protein hound.....for my entree I am going with a 6 ounce rare Filet Mignon...and it's only 6 ounces because I am pairing it with 2 lbs of King Crab Legs with 2 bowls of drawn butter...yes I said bowls 2 for the 2 lbs....and to finish it off.....drum roll....Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Fresh and HOT!! And of course, sweet tea with it all...except for the cup of coffee with the doughnuts...duh!

Come on over to Shannon's every Tuesday to play along!

One meal? Does it have to be a meal? Can it just be a collection of foods you like? I'd have goat's cheese and olives, and prawns, and chocolate, (not together possibly), and baked potato with chives and mayonaisse and butter, and chocolate mousse and tropical fruit salad to finish, oh and raspberry coulis made by my Mom and meringues, also made by my Mom and chewey in the middle...and home made lemonade and Earl Grey tea to settle my stomach after such a disasterous combination of food!!
Howzat!

Krispy Kremes! Yummy! They closed the closest one to us so we haven't had them in forever.

Oh my goodness. Your meal sounds like my favorite one so far. I think it was the 2 tubs of butter that put it into my favorite category : )

I'll pass on the crab legs... but the rest sounds great!

YOu are cracking me up. I would love a buffalo chicken salad from Chilis and their chips and salsa. I could totally eat that everyday. Iced coffee could be my dessert. YUM!

I don't know what I would choose, but I am sure it would end with Tiramisu (sp).

Jane,

WOW what a great meal, only I would change out the king crab legs for fully loaded baked potatoes and top it off with chocolate cake.

ONE meal for the rest of my life. I think we'd be sick to death of eating the same thing day after day.
How could I choose??
I could totally eat the meal you described.
and then what about fried spaghetti
and french fries with a big BBQ's hamburger
and rhubarb crumble for dessert
or would it be cheesecake
or bread pudding with carmel sauce

see my dilema

Oh girl, that meal sounds divine! I love me some crab legs. And RARE filet mignon. Don't ruin a steak by cooking it too much, thankyouverymuch.

Can we have this at SS?

Jane--I stumbled across your blog--love your theme and post idea! I cant help but thinking about Manna...Gods perfect food to Israel. Even though it was perfectly nutritious and hand-delivered by God, they got tired of it. So, even though I LOVE steak, baked potatoes, molten lava chocolate cake, Im sure at some point I would get sick of it ;)

I could handle your meal, but I like my meat well done.
