Table Topics Tuesdays

Thank you Shannon over at Welcome To The Nuthouse, I love this question....

is it harder for you to eat healthy or get exercise?

Oh my gosh...now I have absolutely no problem eating healthy...with a few little treats thrown in here and there...but exercise!!!!!!!! Take me out back and shoot me. The funny thing is that I have always exercised until the past 10 years, I was obsessed with it in my teens, 20's, 30's ...but once my 40's hit, I knew no matter what I did I was NOT gonna get hard body 20's back, so hey just have fun and enjoy...whoohoo!! But the sad thing for me is that with 50 looming....I'm feeling the need to start back the madness...OH NO!!!!!!

Join us over at Shannon's each Tuesday for Table Topics and link up!

I am exactly the same way. I have no idea why my exercise regime practically stopped when I turned 40--at absolutely the time I'm needing it most!!

"take me out back and shoot me"

HA! My thoughts exactly. With everything else I have to do each day, who has time to exercise? UGH.

I love food way too much, so it's easier for me to exercise. There is no way I am giving up my junk food diet!

Oh, do I ever hear you! 50 is looming in the distance, and my metabolism has taken a plunge. Nothing I do seems to budge the excess! UGH!!!

Jane,

Just another thing that we share and have in common. I was just thinking about that the other day, that 50 is just a few years away and I'd better get in shape once my surgery is over.

These days I can't manage to do either! In general though, I think exercise is easier for me if the weather is nice and I'm able to take walks.

A year ago it was not hard for me at all to Eat healthy and I went to the gym 5 days a week. I stepped on the scales FIRST thing every morning. I watched every lb. NO I wasn't skinny, but trying to keep it "under control"
NOW.........ee gads
My new hubby loves his carbs and snacks, and I live no where close to a gym, and so.....it has all gone to hell in a hand basket
and I don't like it
I don't like my extra lbs
I gotta get back on track

I've walked for decades, but after our out of state move, I picked up jazzercise (after 22 years). Since I keep encouraging my mom and aunt to do light weights and water aerobics to increase or maintain their mobility as they age, I guess I need to practice what I preach. Since I started the jazzercise (ugh!), my coordination has increased and my energy level has increased (after the initial exhaustion). Do I want to? No! Do I need to? Well, if you had 5 sons who might one day have a say in your care, you would want to stay as fit and healthy as possible - LOL

Soooo with you! Eat healthy so I don't have to excercise would be my motto- except for chocolate, of course! And somehow I always need a snickers bar after I've played a Service for a Holy Day- just one of those things!
I HATE exercise, hot and sticky and all that rubbish...
I've had an idea so am emailing you- not about exercise, no...
