Thankful Thursday!

These are kinda random, but that's the way I am today.....

1. Hubby...just because he accepts me for who I am and has never felt the desire to change me...
2. My kids...because they have given me the greatest job on earth.
3. My artsy side...at the age of 49, I have discovered a hidden jewel within myself...I'm enjoying it!
4. My church...for not looking down upon me for wearing blue jeans and t's to Sunday service, with or without the cowboy boots, I AM ACCEPTED, even if I am a rebel within...
5. One of the biggest rebels of all time....Jesus The Christ....He gets it!

Jane,

I too, am thankful that our church does not look down on the way some people come to church. At least they are in the right place. Praise God that He has lead us all there.

I love wearing jeans!

Great list. It's interesting, I'm grateful to my church for not judging me for ALWAYS wearing a skirt to church. I'm the only one who does - every Sunday - in a skirt. :-D
Praise God for the way He loves us and our individuality.

A great list. Our choir members wore jeans one Sunday not long ago. Our Minister of Music has lost a tremendous amount of weight and I guess he was glad to be able to get into jeans. On the website when he was telling about himself, he said that when he died he wanted his wife to cremate him and pour his ashes in a size 26 jeans. Now she won't have to do that. Praise God for liberty in worshiping out Heavenly Father.

Great list of thanks Jane! I love that in Christ we can be who we are and don't have to worry about what others think - we can just be ourselves.

Great list! And I love churches where you can come as you are. After all, it is not about us. It's about Him!
