The way I relieve stress is to first piss and moan about whatever is bothering me, then I go shopping (of course), but not for clothes (it can depress me if I'm feeling "fat") but for books, make up, gadgets, and other people (presents).

I go shopping or eat too much!

Sex, (haha JK kind of) I just try to find a quiet moment when the kids go to be and stare at the Christmas tree and think about the true meaning of Christmas :).

Well, I have lots of unhealthy ways of dealing with stress. But my favorite healthy way is to take a long, hot bath. And no one, including husbands or dogs, is allowed to intrude!

Stress? What's that? Oh stress...hmmm, I light cinnamon scented candles in the kitchen, and then I make the dogs sit and listen to all the things which are bugging me! After that I fell like I can cope again!

Hi Jane, nice to meet you! Popped over from Shannon's place.

Girl, the best stress relief is laying in bed with a good book then taking a nice long nap!

I try to take a "day off". Meaning that either on Saturday or Sunday I stay in my pjs and read the paper, chill in front of the tv and do nothing. Well, I make dinner but that's it.

It's a nice way to reset for the week.

Lets see...where do I begin...I eat stuff that I shouldn't be eating aka junk food! I curl up on the couch with my puppies and soft blankey and watch tv until I dose off for a 2 or 3 hour nap! :)

Wine. And lots of it.

Really, I take breaks from it all. I go out to lunch with a friend or go to a movie and just GET AWAY. Otherwise I would go stark raving mad.

This answer is the same as the one I left on Shannons blog.
Hot bath then in a warm quilt with a good book.

My answer to this question is the same as my answer to Shannon's question....

Hot bath, good book and a locked bathroom door...

I try to get some "ME" time. I find that also cleaning the house and buying Christmas decorates relieve my stress. LOL!!

I drink lots of wine and bake like a crazy person. The cookies and cakes soothe me. My thighs? Not so much.
