Thankful Thursday!!

Today, I am giving thanks for my husband's job.

1. He loves it. He was in a bad situation before, but was patient and waited for the right thing to come along, it did. It has made him so much happier. The kids and I used to joke around about how happy he was when he came home, every day!! After 3 1/2 yrs, he's calmed that down a little bit!

2. He is appreciated. He feels he is making a difference. He has people tell him what a good job he is doing, complete job satisfaction!!
3. The company cares about it's people. At his evaluation the first 2 questions his boss asked him were "Are you happy here?" and "Are you having fun?". I don't think I was ever asked that in my jobs.

4.His job makes it possible for me to be a stay-at-home mom. I thank God for that every day.

5. Greg has prayed a lot over the years about different aspects of his work. I am so glad Jesus is in control of this, He makes such great decisions for us!!

Now join the rest of the crew over at Sonya's place Truth For The Journey!

I can totally relate. The first 4 years we were married, my husband hated his job, but then he walked into his dream job and for the last 3 years he has come home happy every shift.

That's wonderful that your husband has a job that allows you to be a stay at home mom! I am hoping to continue to be a work at home mom; I just started a year ago.

Have a great week!

God being in control is the best way. It truly is a marriage between us and our Lord when we are saved. He takes us in the good, the bad, and the ugly and never leaves our side.

I am Thankful for this post and for your husband's job...

Your post goes right along with mine! Isn't that funny how things do that some time? I am feeling particularly encouraged after reading what God did in yalls life. I spent some time dabbling in other blogs on your site as well. I signed up for the secret santa deal and am trying to get involved in the ornament swap too. I love Christmas!!!

I guess I need to be more positive about my job but it is hard to do. I love the work, it's the people who drive me crazy. :) We Greg's are great aren't we. haha

Hi Jane, I always admire anyone who home-schools--and since I worked for a church for many years, I worked with many families. The ones who home-schooled their children always seemed to have very well-behaved children. Congrats to you and your family!!!!!

Glad your hubby has a job he loves. That's HALF the battle these days. Praise God.
Hugs,
Betsy

God is SO good! My husband went through the same thing within a year after our youngest son was born. He came home every day with more great news! (Plus, it allowed me to stay home and raise our children). After 20 years, he's calmed down too. LOL!

Great post, btw. Thank you for visiting my blog. It's always nice to see new faces!
