Table Talk

We have been trying to teach the Girl how to say the blessing before dinner each night. Wednesday at lunch, she decided W needed to sit by her. Now because of our differing schooling schedules, lunch is unorganized, grab what you can when you can, chaos. But W dutifully sat beside her while she had her lunch. He gently proded her by asking what she needed to say before she started eating. Her response "Dig In!" Hmm.... we might want to work on this a little more!

Oh boy, that sounds like my house. Only it's me reminding Papa, Ummm we haven't said the blessing. His response is "Will you say it?" as the spaghetti or whatever is falling out of his mouth.

HAHAHA...laughed right out loud! How about when the little ones pray those supppper loooong prayers while you are bowed over your warm, smelling-good food while your stomach is growling. LOL! Always precious to hear them pray though. :) Ang

I think that is awsome that you are having her do that.

We have each of our kids take turns at dinner.

LOL. What a crack up she is!!!

I made the mistake of telling this story to my husband. Don't worry, he'll be saying "Dig in!" rather than an appropriate blessing. =)
